Lame, Lame, Lame…
I post on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Yes, today is Monday. But, I was overcome with other activities and just flat didn’t get a post done. Simple as that. I apologize for this, knowing it’s probably ruined your life.
I encourage you to please hang in there! Don’t kick the cat, carry the dog by its tail, toss ice cubes in the goldfish bowl, disavow your children, put pungi stakes in the fireplace for Santa, or sell all your stocks. Well, selling your stocks might not be a bad idea.
I’ll be back Wednesday–and without some lame excuse. I’ll have a scintillating, high speed, low drag, must read post that will…probably be pretty ordinary. Hope to see you then.
Thanks for stopping by, Galen—who apparently can’t multi-task.

Good luck with all the things I know are on your plate, Galen! We’ll see you back on Wednesday.

Mystery Writing is Murder
Hey, I’ve seen that desk! Oh yeah – it’s in the corner of my room! It’s not going to be easy making it through a Monday without your post, but I certainly understand. Fortunately, I don’t have a cat to kick so I’ll hang on until Wednesday.
LOL, perfect picture for a “mail it in” post!
The Old Silly
You posted to say you couldn’t post. Points for you!
Elspeth
I agree with Elspeth.
See you Wednesday.
I want to know when you took the picture of my office . . . and who’s sitting in my chair?
I’m sorry Galen. Sorry that you have failed as a non-poster. You posted and you told us something of your life and it was more than a tweet by a long shout. So, my friend, you are no good as a non-poster. I expect better (by which I mean worse) from you. Try less.
Hilarious. The picture alone is worth stopping by. See you when you get back.

Forgiven!!
LOL, where did you find that photo? Great one!
Bargain with the Devil
Hi Galen,
For some unknown reason this post popped up in my Google Alerts (for my own name) today. I missed this post when you wrote it, but I took one look at the picture this morning and laughed out loud. Thanks for starting my day out right with a great photo (even though I am eleven days late in seeing it).
