Book Trailer Video…Part 4
Prior video-related posts in this series:
Today’s post is the last dealing with video creation…for now. The subject? Getting your shiny new video on YouTube.
Rather than a long-winded, poorly written blurb from me, how about watching a fast-paced, no-nonsense video on the topic from the experts at YouTube? Yeah, that’d be my preference, too.
So, video creation is simple, free, and–done well–is a great way to promote your book. Give it a try; it costs nothing…but some valuable time…and you might end up with a nice product. If you don’t like the results…no one need know! It’s pretty much a win-win proposition—always the best kind.
Okay, thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you again on Wednesday.

These step by step type of videos rock. Nice and easy. Thanks for sharing this, Galen.

Mystery Writing is Murder
There’s video on how to load a video! But of course…
Very informative post. This could be helpful in so many ways.
Again with the handy dandy helpful stuff. I’m keeping permalinks to this 4-part series in a file for reference. Don’t do much actual work when I’m blog-hopping, so it’s important to keep notes, hmm?
The Old Silly
I’m glad you did this series. I’ll have to remember it’s out there when I need it!
I have some serious catching up to do because I really want to do a trailer. I plan to go back and read the entire series. Right now though, I am having trouble getting the video to play – must unplug and drag computer into the next room and put my resident techie to work.
I love this series – very timely. I’m definitely going to bookmark this info.
Galen,
I love your tutorials. They’re great and this one is a keeper in my Favorites. And I’m still plugging along through your MS. Good stuff. It really is. I’ll have a much more detailed account soon.
